your soul

“Not all those who wander are lost.”

This paradox written by J.R.R. Tolkien deeply resonates with me. After experiencing a personal crisis, I felt as though I had lost a part of myself. I was always the one who was prepared, who knew what to do next. But when grief struck, it was disorienting—like being adrift in an open ocean. Yet, through support, I slowly began to tune into the voice of love—God’s love.

Maybe you’re sensing the warning signs that your ship is sinking. Or perhaps a significant life change has already happened—the birth of a child, the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or reputation, or a difficult diagnosis. Wherever you find yourself, it would be my privilege to come alongside you, inviting you to listen for that same voice of love.

here for all of it

A little bit about me. I’m Ash. I am a Spiritual Director and a member of Spiritual Directors International (SDI). With over a decade of experience as a lay counselor, I am now training to become a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider. My passion is helping others find clarity through hospitality that feels like home.

I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband, our 5-year-old son, and our beloved rescue pup. In my free time, I enjoy ceramics, yoga, cycling, hiking, and cooking meals to share with friends.

what is soul care?

Soul Care is an invitation to meet with a trained listener dedicated to nurturing your inner life. While similar to traditional therapy in that it offers space to discuss your experiences and struggles, Soul Care also creates an opportunity to bring your concerns and longings into conversation with God.

Sessions can be held either in person or remotely and are typically scheduled every two weeks or once a month. Each session is $70. Although I am unable to accept insurance, we can discuss a sliding scale fee if cost is a barrier.
